Privacy policy

Plumbton Marketing ("Plumbton") is a business name of IMPIOUS LLC, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Contact: jer@plumbton.com or (616) 867-0678. This policy is effective October 16, 2026. It covers plumbton.com and the calls, texts and emails Plumbton trades with you.

What Plumbton collects

• When you visit plumbton.com: the server logs your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. plumbton.com uses no cookies, no ad trackers and no outside analytics. When a page loads, I record your screen size and whether you opened it inside Facebook or Instagram, without your IP address or a cookie, so I can make the site fit phones.
• When you ask for a report: your name, your agency's name, the city to check, your phone number, your email, your agency's revenue range and whether you checked the text box. Plumbton also records the page, time, IP address and browser the form came from, as the record of what you agreed to, and the link or ad you came from (campaign tags and click ID).
• When you call, text or email: your number or address, your messages and the details of the call.
• When you become a client: the business details needed to do the work, and billing details.

How Plumbton uses it

To answer you, run your report, set up calls, do the work you hire Plumbton for, send the texts and emails you asked for, keep the records the law requires, and keep its systems safe. Plumbton does not sell your personal information.

Texts

Plumbton texts only people who check the text box on a plumbton.com form. Message frequency varies, up to 8 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Full terms: plumbton.com/sms-terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Calls

Plumbton does not record calls.

Service providers

Only the services that run the business, and only what each one needs:

• Akamai (Linode) hosts this site and its forms.
• Twilio carries calls and texts.
• Fastmail carries email.
• ntfy.sh sends Plumbton a phone alert for each new report request. The alert carries only the city and revenue range, never a name, number or email.

Plumbton also shares information when the law requires it.

How long Plumbton keeps things

• Server logs: 14 days.
• Report requests and other inquiries: 2 years after the last contact.
• Form posts blocked as spam: 30 days.
• Records of text consent and opt-outs: 5 years after the last message.
• Client records: while Plumbton works with you, then as long as the law requires.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

plumbton.com runs no ad trackers and no outside analytics, so today there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal to switch off. If that changes, this policy will say how Plumbton honors those signals before the change goes live.

Your choices

You can ask what Plumbton has about you, ask for a fix, or ask for it to be deleted. Email jer@plumbton.com and Plumbton will answer within 30 days. Records of text consent and opt-outs stay for the period above even after a deletion request, because the law needs them.

Children

plumbton.com is for businesses. Plumbton does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date.
